Stacey Lee's most recent novel is a stunning work of historical fiction that explores often-overlooked pieces of America's past and had me gasping at every plot twist.

In the Neighborhood of True is an engaging exploration of right and wrong set against the backdrop of 1958 Georgia. Read more for my thoughts on the novel, a Q&A with the author, and an excerpt!

Every Shiny Thing is a beautiful novel about friendship and learning how to do the right thing, told in half-poetry, half-prose.

My most recent read, plus a bit of a daily spread from last month. I liked Unlocked (book 8.5 of the Keeper of the Lost Cities series), but I was sad that it was basically just a novella with a lot of bonus content that I skipped through because it was pretty boring. And now I’ll wait another eleven months for the next book to release 🤡⠀
