Hello everyone! I hope you’re doing alright. There’s a lot of stress in the world right now, for obvious reasons, so for the month of April, I put together a calm-themed bullet journal setup. Bullet journaling is really stress-relieving for me, and I highly recommend trying to use a journal as a way to create ~calm vibes~ while social distancing.
My journal has also been super helpful lately as I’m trying to stay focused and productive while doing online school, so keep an eye out for another post about that sometime soon if that’s something you’re interested in hearing about!
Anyway, without further ado, I present my bullet journal setup for April.
My mom was kind enough to print out a bunch of photos for me at work before she got sent home (thanks Mom!), so I’ve been having a lot of fun playing around with using photos in my spreads.
I’ve been super inspired by @kaylajournals, one of my absolute favorite bullet journalists who makes incredibly gorgeous spreads using photos.
For this cover page, I tried to choose photos with a relaxing aesthetic and a cohesive color scheme, and added some doodles, a book page element, and a song that makes me feel happy and calm, “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley.
I kept my monthly spread simple with a calendar layout and two more pictures.
My highlights page is a bit more colorful than usual, and I used a one-page layout this time just to see how it works out since I haven’t switched it up in a while.
I’m continuing with this two-page habit tracker layout inspired by @bulletjournalwithfaith since it’s been working really well for me these past few months!
I’m also keeping the same sleep tracker layout:
I hope you enjoyed this setup! Stay safe and have a wonderful April 🙂
