The Hamilton Book Tag | There’s a Million Things I Haven’t Done, like This Tag (Until Now!)

HAMILTON. IT’S SO GOOD. I cannot believe how late I am to this amazing tag (just like I was kinda late to Hamilton in general), but I’m RISING UP to do it now.

Plz enjoy my horrible AMAZING Hamilton puns. (I was pretty proud of myself for coming up with the title for this post, not gonna lie—although it was hard to choose between this one and ‘The Hamilton Book Tag | Blogging like I’m Running out of Time.’)

Thank you to Olivia for tagging me!!

The Hamilton Book Tag | There's a Million Things I Haven't Done, like This Tag (Until Now!)

The Room Where It Happens
A book world you would put yourself in

I mean, I would be lying if I said the book I would most want to be inside was anything other than Harry Potter. The wizarding world would be amazing to experience!

Blossoms and Bullet Journals

The Schuyler Sisters
An underrated female character

Everyone always talks about Hermione Granger (which makes sense, she’s my favorite too!), but Ginny Weasley is another fantastic HP character. She’s an amazing quidditch player, she makes friends with Luna even though everyone thinks she’s weird, and she stays at Hogwarts and helps bring back the DA when Harry is off finding horcruxes.

Blossoms and Bullet Journals

My Shot
A character who goes after what they want

Evelyn Hugo, absolutely, from The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Evelyn is such a fantastic, complex character who will do whatever it takes to reach her goals.

Blossoms and Bullet Journals

You’ll Be Back
Sassiest Villain

Hmm, sassy is a little specific…I guess I’ll go with Count von Viscount of the Ruby Redfort series, the genius criminal mastermind with a flair for the dramatics.

Blossoms and Bullet Journals

Non-Stop
A series you marathoned

I’m not sure I can think of a series that I marathoned, but I definitely read all of the Keeper of the Lost Cities books super fast—of course, not all of them have been released yet, but I always try to get my hands on a copy of the new books as they come out and speed through them as quickly as possible! (Which is bittersweet, because then I finish and I’m sad because I have to wait a whole year for the next book.)

Blossoms and Bullet Journals

Satisfied
Favorite book with multiple POVs

I feel like I’ve probably read a bunch of multi-POV books, but I’m going to go with Queens of Geek. Taylor and Charlie were both fantastic characters and I loved reading from both of their perspectives.

Blossoms and Bullet Journals

Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story
A book that will be remembered throughout history

The Hate U Give, 100%. Not only has THUG been incredibly popular (both within the book community and outside in the larger world), but I also think it’s one of the most important and impactful books that have been published recently.

Blossoms and Bullet Journals

Helpless
A relationship you were rooting for from the start

Lara Jean and Peter from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. I was on Team Peter from the start!

Blossoms and Bullet Journals

What Comes Next
A series that you wish had more books

I adore the Ruby Redfort series, and would be happy to read many more books about my favorite teenage code-cracker, but alas, the series has ended after six wonderful installments.

Blossoms and Bullet Journals

Right Hand Man
Favorite brotp

I’m so sorry for using HP characters AGAIN, but Harry and Ron are the ultimate brotp. ❤

Blossoms and Bullet Journals

What’d I Miss
A book or series that you were late to reading

Although relatively speaking, a few years is not very long, I feel like I was pretty late to the party where Six of Crows is concerned. Everyone on the bookish internet flails about this book constantly, and though I was late, I am now ready to join everyone in flailing.

Blossoms and Bullet Journals

The Reynolds Pamphlet
A book with a plot twist that you didn’t see coming

Catching Fire—I can remember finishing The Hunger Games in fifth grade and being like “the games are over, like, what could the next book be about?” I was so surprised when the Capitol announced the special anniversary thing in the second book.

Let's Chat

  4. I LOVE THIS, the post title is literally everything. 😉 I agree, Harry and Ron are the ultimate brotp, and Ginny is also so underrated. She’s such a spunky character and I just adore her. Also, oh my gosh, I had forgotten about the Ruby Redfort series! All the memories. ❤

  5. omg this is an amazing tag and I’m gonna swipe it from you! 😉 I haven’t read all the books/series you answered with, but I do agree with a lot of the ones that I have – in particular, Ginny Weasley is SO underrated – possibly because of how she’s written in the movies, but that’s another issue haha.

also Wait For It is my favorite too! but I also love the wordplay in Farmer Refuted (totally underrated, imo) and something about Your Obedient Servant is just so catchy.
