I’ve probably said this in the last ten posts, but I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT SCHOOL IS ALMOST HERE. I start on Wednesday ahhh. In spite of the impending end of summer, I’ve managed to draw up a few bullet journal spreads for the month of September and I’m very excited to share them!
Here is my monthly spread—I’m going with a minimal bookish theme for September (seemed fitting with back to school and all). I’ve reverted back to a calendar layout rather than a list format since I’ll be busier now that school is starting.
My habit tracker, which was inspired by AmandaRachLee (such an icon), is a totally new layout that I’ve never tried before, which is super exciting! I was a bit nervous about this spread at first, and it took quite a while to write out all the mini calendars, but I think it was worth it. I love the look of this layout, and I think it will be really fun to fill in—I’m just going to draw little circles around each day that I do the habit (e.g. if I floss on September 1st, I’ll draw a circle around the ‘1’ on the calendar for flossing).
Continuing with the book theme, I decided to add a little book page detail on the edge of the page. I did this for the first time last month and loved how it turned out!
Okay so this page was going to say ‘highlights’ at the top, but I accidentally wrote an ‘a’ after the ‘h,’ so I decided to make the header ‘happy stuff’ instead. This is one of my favorite spreads to use each month—each night, I write down the best thing that happened to me that day.
Wait, that’s it?! Yes it is! You may have noticed that I did not include a blog calendar spread this month, and that’s because I’m playing around with the idea of using a Google spreadsheet for blog post planning. I may not end up liking it, but I’m trying it out for this month at least, so we’ll see how it goes!
Now let me know in the comments—how are you setting up your journal for September?

Hey Annie! I absolutely looooved this post! Your bullet journal looks super organised and stunning (as always) and your pics are amazing! I was also just wondering if you would like to take part in my 10 day bujo survey for a school assignment/ blog post! It’s very simple and doesn’t require anything at all – just you and your bujo! I have just sent you an email all about it through your contact page!

Sometimes mistakes turn out well. That “happy stuff” title is so cute! May be “stealing” it for next month 😂 I always do a memories page but the title “memories” seems dull now ha xx
