Why hello there! Fall is in the air (at least it is where I live) and it’s that time again when I share everything I read in the last month. Without further ado, I present my September 2017 reading recap!

  4. Anne of Green Gables: A Graphic Novel // Mariah Marsden // ★★★★☆ // Middle grade, graphic novel // Ahh I loved this one! A beautiful reimagining of the classic. Read my review here.
  5. Wallace the Brave // Will Henry // ★★★★☆ // Middle grade, comic // Aw this comic is so cute. Read my review here.
  6. Brave // Svetlana Chmakova // ★★★★.5 // Middle grade, graphic novel // This book is so adorable!!

  • Dear Martin by Nic Stone // October 17th // One of my most anticipated reads this year!
  • I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter by Erika L. Sánchez // #Ownvoices novel about the aftermath of the main character’s sister’s death
  • Calling My Name by Liara Tamani // October 24th // Coming-of-age story with an African-American female protagonist
